  1. Battle of the bands
Gather some bands from your school, book time in your school gym or cafeteria, and put up posters to advertise. Sell tickets and let the audience choose the winning band.

  2. Scavenger hunt
Set a route and make a list of items participants need to find. Advertise and charge a small fee to take part. The winner(s) gets a prize.

  3. Talent auction
Get volunteers to auction off their talents. For example, a great singer can offer to sing at a party, or a good cook can offer to make lunch or dinner for the highest bidder.

  4. Ugly tie contest
Have students come to school wearing the ugliest tie they can find. Have them vote on the worst tie and the winner receives a prize. Charge a small fee for participation.

  5. Dog show
Invite people to show off their dog in a beauty pageant. Charge people to enter and offer prizes for the best groomed, most obedient, etc.

  6. Karaoke party
Rent a karaoke machine, sell tickets or charge an admission fee, and sing all night.

  7. Bingo
Host a bingo night at a local hall, community centre or school.

  8. Guess the age of your teacher
Organize an event in which students pay to guess the age of your teacher. Get approval from your teacher first, of course.

  9. Monopoly tournament
Have groups of students play monopoly matches with the final winner receiving a prize.

  10. “Get-out-of-school-free” card
With your teacher’s permission, pay to get out of a class period for a day with all proceeds going to your campaign.
