| Free The Children Japan Creates Waves of Change
Across the Pacific Ocean, Free The Children Japan is creating waves of change.

There are more then 300 youth leaders and 100 adult supporters in the country. These dedicated change-makers have been taking huge strides forward in youth leadership, social issues education and fundraising. One of their recent initiatives was a benefit concert at the Canadian Embassy in Tokyo called “CHILDLIKE INaSENSE,” organized with Free The Children supporters Gab and Mylène. Many great musicians performed, and they raised over 450,000 yen ($4,000 US) for Free The Children projects like the Adopt a Village campaign in Sri Lanka.
Free The Children is the largest network of children helping children through education in the world, with more than one million youth involved in our innovative education and development programs in 45 countries. Founded by international child rights activist Craig Kielburger, Free The Children has an established track-record of success, with three nominations for the Nobel Peace Prize and partnerships with the United Nations and Oprah’s Angel Network. |
