
On October 19, 2007, over 7,500 students and educators; and countless activists, politicians and entertainers filed into Toronto’s Ricoh Coliseum to celebrate the first annual National Me to We Day. This was a unique celebration aimed at educating, inspiring and empowering youth to leadership through social action and volunteerism. National Me to We Day has equipped thousands of youth nationwide with the tools to become socially engaged global citizens.

MTV Live
Craig and Marc were guests on MTV live on Thu Oct 18th to promote Free The children and National Me to We Day. They were joined by members of the cast of Degrassi: The Next Generation who talked about their experiences while in Kenya visiting various Free The Children projects.
CTV special
On the Monday (Oct, 22, 2007) following the event, CTV aired a 30-minute follow-up special recapping the occasion, which aired at both at 10:30am and 1:00pm (EST).
